INCF Neuroinformatics Assembly 2023
Online Event
The International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) Neuroinformatics Assembly 2023 is taking place from September 18 to September 20, 2023 and hosted, once again, on the online Gather platform.
The theme of this year's assembly is Transparency in FAIR Neuroinformatics and is centered around workshops proposed by the INCF community, including by the Brain Simulation Section with the workshop session: "Infrastructure for Sensitive Data".
The Neuroinformatics Assembly is the annual gathering of the INCF network gathering neuroscience standards developers, infrastructure providers, and software developers to have the opportunity to interact with the research community and share the latest advancements in the filed.
About INCF
The International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) is an international non-profit organization devoted to advancing the field of neuroinformatics.
The mission of INCF network is to promote the uptake of FAIR data management practices in neuroscience through the development of standards and best practices that support open, FAIR, and citable neuroscience.
INCF also provides training on how standards and best practices facilitate reproducibility and enables the publishing of the entirety of research output, including data and code.

Agenda
The workshop offers participants both lecture and hands-on training session for using the new EBRAINS privacy-compliant and scalable services for brain research to store, share and analyze complex multi-modal FAIR sensitive neuroscience data originating from human subjects: Health Data Cloud (HDC).
The event takes place on Tuesday, September 19: 14:30-17:30 CEST.
The event is addressed to professionals working at the intersection of neuroscience and data science, including researchers, IT personnel, and bioinformaticians.
