Event Recap
The EU-funded Human Brain Project (HBP) celebrated its successful conclusion in September with a scientific symposium at Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ). Over the course of ten years, the HBP, involving 155 institutions from 19 countries with a total budget of 607 million euros, made significant strides in brain research. Key achievements include a detailed digital brain atlas, personalized virtual patient brain models, advancements in AI, and the creation of the open research platform EBRAINS. This interdisciplinary project's impact extends beyond neuroscience, playing a vital role in digital science and fostering collaboration across communities.
