High-Level Panel Discussion
Following Prof. Raghu Machiraju's lecture from Ohio State University, the webinar will host an engaging panel discussion featuring distinguished experts.
Prof. Petra Ritter will join this high-level panel, contributing her expertise to the discourse. Other distinguished panelists include:
Together, this panel will provide diverse perspectives and insights into the topics at hand.
Abstract of the Talk
Prof. Machiraju's talk will provide a deep dive into The Virtual Brain Platform, an essential component of the EU-led e-Brain initiative, and will explore the brain's modeling as a dynamic and adaptive system, with an emphasis on state-space models. These models have been instrumental in explaining the functioning of normal, dyscalculic, and dyslexic brains during mental arithmetic tasks. Prof. Machiraju will also discuss their application in broader decision-making tasks.
The talk will conclude with a visionary proposal for an "e-brain-in-a-box," underpinned by an integrative architecture, like C-Brain.
