On the 1st and 2nd of July 2024, the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Science will play host to the Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health Summit, bringing together stakeholders from around the globe to explore the transformative potential of AI in mental health care. This event, organized by the environMENTAL Consortium, together with Charité–Universitätsmedizin Berlin, EBRAINS, and the German Centre for Mental Health (DZPG), promises to be a groundbreaking exploration of the latest developments in the field.
The summit aims to explore how artificial intelligence and digital tools are shaping the future of mental health care by enhancing our understanding of mental health conditions and fostering innovative solutions in diagnosis, intervention, and support. A special highlight of the event is the session on "AI Infrastructure", where Prof.Petra Ritter will make a special contribution.

On July 2nd, 2024, Prof. Petra Ritter will present a talk about The European Testing and Experimentation Facility for Health AI and Robotics (TEF-Health) as part of Session AI Infrastructure.
This session is a critical component of the summit's agenda, focusing on the infrastructure necessary to support the integration of artificial intelligence and digital tools in mental health care. Prof. Ritter's talk will contribute to fostering discussions and collaborations between the Berlin Institut of Health (BIH) and DZPG and the European environMENTAL consortium, aimed at enhancing the infrastructure for the implementation of innovative technologies in mental health care.
