GCTF Conference - New Frontiers in Global Health Cooperation

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Petra Ritter will participate in a panel at the GCTF Conference, New Frontiers in Global Health Cooperation: Health System Resiliency. The conference is presented by by the Taipei Representative Office in the Federal Republic of Germany and the U.S. Embassy in Berlin. It will take place on the 22nd of May 2026 at the NH Collection Berlin, Friedrichstraße 96 .
Cross-border collaborations are essential to building resilient healthcare systems as emerging threats and opportunities reshape the global health landscape. The GCTF platform offers a unique forum to explore how practical partnerships can help address complex issues such as AI in healthcare, secure medical supply chains, and emergency response—each critical to the future of healthcare at both national and international levels. Highlighting Taiwan’s role as a key global partner well positioned to help address these evolving challenges, Taiwan’s Minister of Health and Welfare, Dr. Chung-liang Shih, will deliver the keynote address. The conference will also convene leading experts from the United States, Taiwan, Germany, and across Europe to exchange best practices and advance cooperation on these priority issues. A detailed agenda will be shared closer to the event.
