We are excited to announce that Dr. Petra Ritter will speak at the 2026 bio:cap event at CityCube Berlin. Taking place between 9th and 11th of June 2026, bio:cap is Europe’s Life Science & AI Investival with one clear mission: connecting breakthrough science to the funding that turns ideas into impact. We are also excited to welcome you to our TEF exhibition booth at bio:cap.
bio:cap unites global investors, founders, and industry leaders to spotlight and back the most promising innovations emerging from European research. bio:cap transforms cutting-edge science into investable ventures and fast-tracks their journey from lab bench to market front. The goal is to benefit patients and society and to help create a resilient and sustainable European bioeconomy.
Dr. Petra Ritter will take part in the Connecting Europe for Tomorrow’s Healthcare session on June 11 at 9:30am with Tom Forntheil from the Life Science & Healthcare Invest team at Business Sweden, the Swedish Trade and Invest Council.
How can Europe better leverage its strengths to drive innovation in healthcare? This 30-minute session by Business Sweden and Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEF), explores how cross-border collaboration and shared digital infrastructure can unlock synergies across the European ecosystem.
A key focus will be on AI and data in healthcare, including the development of the European Health Data Space, access to high-quality health data, and the infrastructure and metrics needed to ensure interoperability and usability across Member States. TEF and TIP will be presented as complementary platforms that enable testing, validation, and scaling of AI-driven health solutions, while fostering collaboration across countries. The session will also highlight how these initiatives support SMEs and startups, raise awareness among policymakers, and contribute to building a more connected and resilient European health innovation landscape.
