Dont miss the annual international meetings of the Brain Connectivity Workshop and the BrainModes conference!
Brain Connectivity Workshop BrainModesHosted in a different country every year, these events are a great opportunity to meet leading experts from computational neuroscience, neuroscience methodology and experimental neuroscience!
See you at Recycled Conference this Thursday! No

Please join us on Thursday July 9th this week, as several of our lab members are presenting their work at Recycled Conference at the Rahel-Hirsch-Center. The idea behind the conference is to give a second life to posters already shown at other events. It’s a great opportunity to share and connect with fellow PHD students, and experience the breadth of research going on at BIH and affiliate institutes. So feel welcome to come and enjoy the poster experience, and if you are interested to present yourself, submissions are still open.
No need to prepare or worry about deadlines, you can sign up here and show up with your poster.
We especially look forward to seeing posters by Maria Luise da Costa Zemsch, Simon Adriano Munoz Lagunas, Luca Brandt and perhaps other lab members. Zemsch will be presenting a poster on topics related to fast acting therapy for depression, ketamine therapy, and differences between sexes in this area. Brandt plans to present "Investigating Network Effects of Excessive Plasticity in Alzheimer’s Disease with The Virtual Brain”. Munoz Lagunas plans to present a poster shown at OHBM 2026, in case you missed it, titled “PV- and SST-Mediated Cortical Inhibition Reproduces the STN-DBS Signature in a Whole-Brain Mouse Connectome Model“, which details a biologically-comparable 4D mouse brain model that reproduces the effects of deep brain stimulation treatment for Parkinson’s.
The program is open for full or partial attendance:
We hope to see you there, and are excited to discover the other research projects at Charité and BIH. For more information about the event, please see the BIH event page.
