BIH Scientific Symposium

This week is the BIH Scientific Symposium! Please join us this Thursday the 24th of September at the Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus in Mitte for a full day of diverse scientific programming. The event is from 9am until 9pm, with registration at 8am (if you haven’t already registered online).
Our lab will be exhibiting an art installation: My Virtual Dream. MVD is an audio visual installation that creates a collective dream for four people at a time using their EEG brainwaves in real time. Each person will have their own avatar and influence over the dream controlled by their EEG. We will be using Muse 2 headsets by Interaxon, a very simple EEG sensing headband designed for meditation training. It is a novel neurofeedback experience and a rare occasion to enjoy a legacy project (it started in 2013! and was last exhibited in 2017!) which bridges both art and science, so we hope you come and enjoy it with us.
