Dont miss the annual international meetings of the Brain Connectivity Workshop and the BrainModes conference!
Brain Connectivity Workshop BrainModesHosted in a different country every year, these events are a great opportunity to meet leading experts from computational neuroscience, neuroscience methodology and experimental neuroscience!
Upcoming Conference: Mechanistic Modelling in Pharmacology, Physiology, and Neuroscience.
Stockholm, Sweden
Join us on November 26, 2026 at The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, in Stockholm for a conference centered on mechanistic modeling in health sciences.
The conference is hosted by SciLifeLab, the registration deadline is on October 25, and you can find the whole program and register on the SciLifeLab website here.
The conference will bring together experts from the field, including our lab lead, Prof. Dr. Petra Ritter, to discuss state of the art technologies and methodologies used to ingest large volumes of data and interpret them mechanistically for practical applications in pharmacology, physiology and neurology.
This series goes beyond the perception that problems can be solved merely by accumulation of data - the focus here is how that data can be interpreted at scale using computational methods in order to give deeper insights into the behavior and organization of biological structures, such as cells, organs and entire organisms. The event intended to support collaboration and facilitate progress in research and practical applications.
Other keynote speakers include: Jan Ellenberg, SciLifeLab Director; Erik Lindahl, Director of NAISS – National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden, and Morten Grunnet, Prof, PhD, DrSci, Vice President and Head of Neuroscience at Lundbeck & Affiliate Professor at University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet).
We hope to see you there!
