Last July, the 32nd Annual Computational Neuroscience Meeting (CNS*2024) took place in Natal, Brazil. The Brain Simulation Section team had the opportunity to contribute to this event with a workshop titled “Whole Brain Network Modeling for Clinical Application”. Here’s a look back at the highlights and key takeaways from our involvement.

    Workshop Highlights

Held on July 24th, 2024, our workshop attracted a wide audience, including researchers, clinicians, and students. The session began with an introduction by Prof. Petra Ritter, who provided an overview of brain network modeling and its relevance to clinical practice. This introduction was followed by a series of presentations covering various aspects of brain network modeling, including drug effects, disease dynamics, and more.

The workshop featured contributions from our lab members across all levels of seniority, including PhD students, post-docs, engineer and MD, highlighting our collective expertise. The session concluded with our honored guest speaker, Salvador Dura-Bernal from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
