We congratulate our lab leader, Petra Ritter, on becoming a finalist at the Falling Walls Remote conference with her contribution "Breaking the Wall to the Virtual Brain". We wish her well in this “Breakthrough 2020“ competition!
The Falling Walls series and competition is in memory of the fall of the Berlin Wall, and asks the question, "which walls still remain, and which will be broken next?". Of course, here at the Brain Simulation Section, we are dedicated to breakthroughs in computational neuroscience to understand more about the human brain and how to treat disease.
